The first time he sees it he thinks he's hallucinating. A comment on the blog, simply stating 'I believe in Sherlock Holmes.' He leans back, closes his eyes, and prays that the words will still be there when he opens them again.
They are.
A week later he leaves the bedsit - not a flat, not a new flatmate - and in the midst of a board of flyers advertising plays and tuition he sees it again.
'I believe in Sherlock Holmes.'
He walks over to the wall and pulls the flyer free.
With conclusive proof, he heads to the library. Pulling up a search engine on their old and dusty computer he types in those words. In seconds there are hundreds of hits.
Blogs, Tumblrs, Flickr accounts - the phrase is everywhere.
The message is clear. There are people out there who know the truth, just as he has always known.

All posters made by me. Feel free to reblog away!
The Anderson one was completely unexpected.
Oh dear. I keep bursting into little giggle fits.

Just finished my new stamp, based on one of the posters that has been going around. I’m really happy with it! I have some sticker sheets I am going to be printing it on.
